Analysis of the Causes of Defective FPC Cables

FPC cable is widely used in car DVDs, car GPS navigation, portable DVDs, MP3s, PDA laptops, point readers, repeaters, mobile phones, digital cameras, printers, scanners, amplifiers and audio systems, cash registers, monitoring communication systems, and computer peripherals. The common poor performance of FPC wiring mainly includes broken needles and burrs, which are caused by improper operation of the drilling rig, problems with the drill bit, fast feed, incorrect cover plate and pad, incorrect drilling conditions, electrostatic adsorption, and so on.

1. Improve the technical ability and proficiency of operators in FPC cable factory, and cultivate employees' sense of responsibility; Strictly control the quality requirements of drill needles, including material, shape, number of drills, drill tip, etc.



2. Strictly control the material, thickness, and thermal conductivity of the FPC cable factory pressure plate and base plate; Ensure the temperature and humidity requirements of the FPC cable processing environment.



3. The FPC cable should strictly control the vibration, position accuracy, and clamping force of the drilling machine during the drilling process; Control the drilling parameters (split and single processing method), number of revolutions, and speed of feed and retreat.
